Follow State Highway 1 through the Mt Victoria tunnel and exit turning left around the Basin Reserve. Continue on State Highway 1 along the Wellington bypass road stay in right hand lane until Taranaki Street , turn right down Taranaki Street and then second right after the Shell is Frederick St look for sign street parking is available or park in the Gourmet Stay yard

From North via SH1 motoRway

Coming in on the Wellington motorway (State Highway 1)

Stay on the motor way through the Terrace tunnel and exit onto Vivian street (still on State Highway 1). Continue on Vivian Street stay in right hand lane until Taranaki Street (at Ricoh Corner) turn right up Taranaki Street and then first left (only 50 metres) is Frederick St look for sign street parking is available or park in the Gourmet Stay yard.

From north via the quays

Coming into Wellington along the Quays (adjacent to the harbour)

Stay on the Aotea Quay until the Taranaki Street (BP station corner) Turn right into Taranaki Street. Stay on Taranaki Street thru three four sets of lights (Wakefield Street , Courtney Place, Ghuznee St and then Vivian Street) cross Vivian Street and then first left (only 50 metres) is Frederick St look for sign street parking is available or park in the Gourmet Stay yard
