Breakfast
All new bookings at Gourmet Stay now have the option to include a continental style buffet breakfast with your booking. Breakfast is available from 7.30am to 9.30am weekdays, and 8.00am to 10.00am in the weekend. We can also provide earlier times by request. Breakfast is served in our ground floor cafe. It includes a selection of cereals, homemade bircher muesli, yoghurt, fruit, specialty breads and jams, freshly baked croissants and scones, sliced swiss cheese and vine-ripened tomatoes, along with a selection of hot beverages.
No Risk Booking
By booking with us directly, you are able to cancel your booking for free. When you make a booking you will need to supply valid credit card information. The booking will be instantly confirmed and no deposit is taken from the card. The total payment is then made on arrival. If you wish to cancel outside 48 hours (2 days) prior to arrival no charges will be made to the credit card. If the cancellation is made within 48 hours (2 days) prior to arrival, the first night of the original booking will be charged.

What's in a name?
The name Gourmet Stay came from the fact that the accommodation is set in the heart of Wellington’s 'gourmet district'
The gourmet experience is at the hotel door step
with restaurants like Logan Brown and Matterhorn nearby and excellent eateries like Olive, Scopa and Capitol all within walking distance.
Neighbourhood activities like the new Light House Cinema and the Havana Bar are a stone’s throw away. The “stay” relates to Gourmet Stay’s as modern, clean uncluttered and comfortable surroundings. The idea was to provide a good standard of accommodation for the discerning traveller priced at the right level
